MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 5, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Tpr C. Ruth served a Bench Warrant (T3-16345) on George Dwayne Mulloy, 27, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Violation of Probation. Mr. Mulloy was located at the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 9:20 pm, TFC J. Gibson initiated a traffic stop on a passenger car on Indian Bridge Road at Park Drive for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. Gary David Giles, 58, of Leonardtown was arrested and charged with CDS Possession - Marijuana. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, January 24, 2014 at 7:40 pm, TFC J. Gibson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15715) on Joseph Lloyd Welch, 40, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving on Suspended License on October 3, 2012. Mr. Welch was located in Charlotte Hall. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, January 24, 2014 at 7:40 pm, TFC J. Gibson served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16352) on Narciso Yu Veluz, 61, of Washington, DC. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Prince Georges County with charges of Assault Second Degree and False Imprisonment on December 21, 2013. Mr. Veluz was located at the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, January 24, 2014 at 8:40 pm, Tpr C. Ruth served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16350) on Donald Leo Parks, 20, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Indecent Exposure on January 23, 2014. Mr. Parks was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center, where he was already incarcerated. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
