LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 23, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 7:32 pm, TFC N. Gresko stopped to assist a motorist on Clover Hill Road at Route 235. TFC Gresko observed the driver, James Paul Sotelo, 28, of California place CDS in his pocket. TFC Gresko attempted to arrest Mr. Sotelo and a brief struggle ensued. Mr. Sotelo was placed under arrest and charged with Resisting Arrest and Possession of CDS: Marijuana. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 9 at 11:15 am, TFC E. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T-315539) on Tasha Maxine Binkney, 24, of Townsend, Montana. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving on a Suspended License on June 13, 2012. Ms. Binkney turned herself in to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, January 13 at 7:40 pm, TFC R. Jackson served a Bench Warrant on Joseph Myron Taylor, 34, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on January 8. Mr. Taylor was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 14 at 3:00 am, Tpr. S. Gallagher served an Arrest Warrant on David Derrick Scott, 53, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Theft Less than $1,000 on November 21, 2013. Mr. Scott was located in Lexington Park. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, January 15 at 6:17 pm, Tpr. K. Morris served a Bench Warrant on Candice Louise Richardson, 26, of California. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on January 15. Ms. Richardson was located in Leonardtown. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 16 at 7:20 am, TFC J. Gibson served a Bench Warrant on Kevin Clifford Bates, 27, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Impaired by Controlled Dangerous Substance on August 7, 2013. Mr. Bates was located in Charlotte Hall. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 16 at 2:45 pm, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant on Darin Keith Pasqualle, Jr, 27, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Theft Less than $1,000 value on January 16. Mr. Pasqualle was located at the St. Mary's County District Court. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, January 17 at 9:35 pm, Cpl. J. Pilkerton served a Bench Warrant on Ellery Leroy Ward, 37, of Clinton. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on January 3. Mr. Ward was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, January 19 at 4:45 am, TFC R. Jackson initiated a traffic stop on a blue passenger car on Route 235 at Jones Wharf Road for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. Holly Lynn Gagliarducci, 23, of Leonardtown was arrested and charged with CDS Possession - Marijuana. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 21 at 5:35 pm, TFC E. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant on Christopher Blair French, 23, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Burglary-First Degree on January 17. Mr. French was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 21 at 6:15 pm, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant on Shyann Nicole Ringley, 21, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Burglary-First Degree on January 17. Ms. Richardson was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 21 at 3:56 pm, TFC M. Pitcher served a Bench Warrant on Shanelle Elizabeth Baker, 24, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Assault 2nd Degree on January 17. Ms. Baker turned herself in to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
