LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 14, 2013)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER: On November 6, Deputy LaFave met with the victim at the sheriff's office headquarters. The victim alleged suspect David Christopher Bradburn, 43, of Leonardtown, had contact with the victim in violation of an active protective order. Bradburn was located and placed under arrest by Deputy LaFave. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Violation Protective Order.
2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 7, Deputy First Class Knott responded to a residence in Great Mills for a disturbance. The victim alleged that Theresa Michelle Gibbons, 24, of Great Mills, struck the victim in the eye with her fist during an argument. DFC Knott observed fresh evidence of injury on the victim. Gibbons was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
THIEVES STEAL A/C, COPPER PIPES FROM HOME: On November 9, Deputy First Class Rogers responded to a residence on Medley's Neck Road in Leonardtown for a reported theft. The victim reported an exterior air conditioner was stolen and copper pipes were cut from the residence. The materials were valued at approximately $1,800. DFC Rogers' investigation led to the identity of two suspects after the stolen items were sold for scrap. Joseph Charles Balch, 22, of Lexington Park, and Cory Bryan Jone-Hurley, 21, of Hollywood, were located and placed under arrest by DFC Rogers. Balch and Jone-Hurley were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Theft Over $1,000.00, Malicious Destruction of Property, and 4th Degree Burglary.
MARIJUANA: On November 11, Deputy First Class Boyer conducted a vehicle stop for a traffic violation in the area of Pegg Road and Forest Run Drive in Lexington Park. The driver, identified as Roshaundra Davenna Dyson, 27, of Lexington Park, was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on a District Court warrant for failure to appear in court. When she stepped from the vehicle to be placed under arrest, DFC Boyer observed a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana, which had been under her foot. Dyson was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged with Possession Controlled Dangerous Substance - Marijuana and Paraphernalia. The warrant was also served.
2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 13, Deputy First Class Boyer responded to a residence on Deerfield Road in Leonardtown for a reported domestic assault in progress. The victim alleged that Patrick James Hutching, 31, of Leonardtown, assaulted the victim during a argument. DFC Boyer observed fresh evidence of injury on the victim. DFC Boyer advised Hutching he was under arrest and Hutching refused all orders. After a brief struggle, Hutching was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Resisting/Interfere with Arrest.

Jeffrey Paul Champine, 61, of Lexington Park, on 09/14/2013 Champine was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Lexington Park. He was charged on 10/29/2013 by Deputy Lloyd after he received results of a blood kit.
