LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 7, 2013)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On Monday, October 28 at 10:41 am, Tpr W. Couter responded to the 30000 block of Seminole Lane in Charlotte Hall for a reported burglary in progress. Upon Tpr Couter's arrival, two suspects fled from the scene. Tpr Couter apprehended Dillian Dewayne Garrett, 21, of Huntingtown in the area of Seminole Lane and Indian Creek Drive. The second suspect, Michael Joseph Kuhlman, 29, of Huntingtown was apprehended in the Food Lion parking lot in Charlotte Hall. Numerous stolen items were recovered, including prescription medication and two handguns. Investigation revealed that a residence on the 37000 block of Indian Creek Drive in Charlotte Hall had also been burglarized. Mr. Garrett and Mr. Kuhlman were arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On Sunday, November 3 at 7:55 pm, Tpr C. Ruth responded to the Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with off duty troopers who advised that Jeffrey Saul Valdes, 27, of Seaford, DE had been involved in a physical altercation. A large crowd surrounded the altercation, which drew the attention of the off duty troopers, who were working security. Mr. Valdes continued to act in a disorderly manner after numerous attempts to calm him. Mr. Valdes was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with Disorderly Contact and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, November 4 at 2:30 pm, TFC S. Ditoto served a Bench Warrant (T-16245) on Samuel Louis Wilkinson, 67, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Charles County with an original charge of Driving on Suspended License on September 9. Mr. Wilkinson was located in California, MD. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, November 5 at 7:25 pm, TFC E. Mersman served an Arrest Warrant (T-16246) on James Ralph Kelly, 63, of California. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Charles County with a charge of Act as Contractor without License on September 26. Mr. Kelly was located in California, MD. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
FUGITIVE OTHER AREA: On Wednesday, November 6 at 12:20 am, Tpr C. Ruth served a Fugitive Arrest Warrant (T-16247) on Christopher Wayne Quade, Jr, 25, of Clements. The Fugitive Warrant was issued as a result of five outstanding warrants for Felony Prescription Forgery and five outstanding warrants for Conspiring to Commit Prescription Forgery from Spotsylvania County, Virginia. He was served and held pending extradition to Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
