LA PLATA, Md. (Sept. 10, 2013)The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THIRD SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH PARTY ROBBERIES: Charles County Sheriffs detectives have arrested a third suspect wanted in connection with four armed robberies that occurred last month. Joseph Lee Proctor, Jr., 21, of Pomfret, was arrested on Sept. 6. Proctor is one of several suspects who took part in robbing partygoers throughout the region. He and two other suspects have been charged with robbery and are being held at the Charles County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
PROPERTY DAMAGED: Between Sept. 5 - Sept. 7, someone threw an object at two solar panels on a solar farm in Hughesville; two panels were destroyed. Officer S. Hooper is investigating.
BURGLARY: On Sept. 7 between 11 a.m. 3:45 p.m., someone broke into a house in the 9200 block of Wills Road in Bel Alton and stole a TV. Officers conducted a canvass and spoke with a witness who observed a white passenger car in the driveway leading to the victims house prior to the burglary. Officer C. Morris is investigating.
THEFT OF AIR CONDITIONERS: Between Sept. 2 Sept. 6, someone stole two air conditioners from the 3200 block of Baptist Church Road in Nanjemoy. PFC M. Kelly is investigating.
