LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 29, 2013)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
CDS ARREST: On Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:44 pm, TFC J. Gibson initiated a traffic stop on a black passenger vehicle on Rt 234 and Mechanicsville Road for a minor traffic infraction. TFC Gibson observed a clear plastic bag come out of the front passenger window and land on the shoulder of Rt. 234. TFC Gibson recovered the bag and identified the contents as CDS. The passenger, Angelina Nicole Buglisi, 24, of White Plains was placed under arrest and transported to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. She was charged with Possession of CDS and later released.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 26, 2013 at 9:50 am, TFC E. Evans served a Bench Warrant (T3-16138) on Shannon Nichele Berry, 42, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on August 21, 2013. Ms. Berry turned herself in to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. She was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 26, 2013 at 1:33 pm, Tpr. B. Weber served a Bench Warrant (T3-16127) on Christopher Joseph Pennington, 24, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on August 15, 2013. Mr. Pennington turned himself in to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 28 at 4:30 am, Tpr C. Ruth served a Bench Warrant (T3-16070) on Matthew Warren Beard, 33, of California. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on July 9, 2013. Mr. Beard was located in Calvert County, placed under arrest, and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
