Drug Arrests in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 18, 2013)—The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division, and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

AMPHETAMINE, OXYCODONE AND METHADONE: Elijah Collier, 35 of La Plata, was arrested on an open indictment for felony counts which included possession with the intent to distribute Amphetamine, Oxycodone and Methadone. He was originally held without bond.

SMUGGLING DRUGS INTO JAIL: Detectives received information that Sara Elizabeth Davis, 21 of Callaway, would be reporting to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and she would be attempting to smuggle drugs into the secured facility. Suspect Davis was to begin serving her first week of her 15 weekend sentence. Detectives from the Drug Diversion Unit responded and a search of Suspect Davis revealed Suboxone which was secreted on her person. She was charged with the additional offense.

MARIJUANA: Demetrius Anthony Williams, 24 of Great Mills, was indicted and subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. Suspect Williams was originally held without bond.
