LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 30, 2013)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, May 24, 2013, at 8:30pm, Tpr. W. Couter served a Bench Warrant (T3-15949) on Nickolas Alan Hurd, 22, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on April 10, 2013. Mr. Hurd was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, May 26, 2013, at 9:23am, Cpl J. Fleetwood served a Bench Warrant (T3-16015) on Carlos Allen Walker, 30, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Charles County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on April 5, 2013. Mr. Walker was located during a routine traffic stop and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, May 26, 2013, at 9:15pm, Tpr. B. Weber conducted a routine traffic stop on Three Notch Road in the area of First Colony Boulevard. Upon approaching the vehicle, Tpr. Weber was able to positively identify the operator as Jason Roland McKay of Lexington Park. As Tpr. Weber was speaking with Mr. McKay she noticed him to be sweating profusely and his speech was slow and lethargic. After further investigation, Mr. McKay admitted to huffing dust remover. Tpr. Weber noticed more cans of the dust remover in the vehicle. Mr. McKay was subsequently arrested for CDS - Inhale Harmful Substance and was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing. He was then transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11:00am, TFC D. Brill served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16005) on Brian Yancy Sampson, 32, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Burglary- First Degree on May 21, 2013. Mr. Sampson was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11:10am, TFC E. Mersman served a Bench Warrant (T3-16011) on Kalyn Louse Dziergowski, 26, of Lusby. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving without a License on May 23, 2013. Ms. Dziergowski was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 6:50am, TFC E. Mersman served a Bench Warrant (T3-16018) on Jonathan Christian Gardner, 22, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on May 29, 2013. Mr. Gardner was located at his residence and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
