PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 22, 2013)The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On 4/15/2013 at 10:16 am, Trooper First Class Wiesemann responded to the 14855 block of Patuxent Ave., Solomons for a report of a theft. A 14kt gold diamond solitaire ring and pendant were stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.
BURGLARY: On 4/16/2013 at 4:00 am, Troopers from the Prince Frederick Barrack were contacted by Anne Arundel Police to assist with a theft investigation. A look-out for a 1996 Honda Accord towing an empty U-Haul trailer was given. TFC Esnes located the vehicle which now had two motorcycles on the trailer. Troopers stopped the vehicle on Rt. 4 in Huntingtown. Troopers then canvassed the area and discovered that the motorcycles had just been stolen during a garage burglary on Holland Cliff Road in Huntingtown. The U-Haul trailer was also found to be stolen. Brandon M. Jennings, 21 of Glen Burnie, and Darian D. Carter, 18 of Pasadena, were both arrested and charged with burglary and theft. Trooper First Class Hunt from the Calvert Investigative Team responded to continue the investigation into other related motorcycle/ATV thefts in the area.
OPEN WARRANT, POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 4/16/2013 at 7:45 pm, Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to a call for service in the 5800 block of Macs Hollow Rd. in Prince Frederick. Donald T. Unkle, 24 of Prince Frederick, was contacted during the call and was discovered to have an open arrest warrant with the Department of Natural Resources Police. Cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were also discovered. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE: On 4/17/2013 at 12:21 am, Trooper Barlow stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Governor Run Rd. in Port Republic. An odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle and a search revealed a large amount of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Salvador A Hernandez-Claudio, 19 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On 4/18/2013 at 7:26 am, Trooper First Class West responded to the 11200 block of Alamo Trail in Lusby in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant. Michael E. Swearingen, 21 of Lusby, was located in the residence and was placed under arrest. A search revealed he was in possession of Oxycodone. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On 4/18/2013 at 12:00 pm, Trooper First Class West received a complaint from a victim, who advised that her estranged husband was violating the protective order she had put in place against him. Jeffrey W. Baker, 42 of Owings, entered the MSP barrack and was placed under arrest for violation of the protective order. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 4/19/2013 at 5:00 pm, Trooper First Class Wiesemann responded to Prince Frederick Blvd. near Dares Beach Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported intoxicated subject staggering in and out of the roadway. Troopers located David J. Stillwagon, Jr., 51 of no fixed address, and found him to be extremely intoxicated. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4/21/2013 at 10:49 am, Trooper First Class Esnes stopped a vehicle at Rt. 4 and Lower Marlboro Rd. in Huntingtown for traffic violations. During the traffic stop a search was conducted which revealed Marijuana. Two juveniles from Virginia were arrested and transported to the MSP Barrack for processing. They were charged and released to the care and custody of their parents and guardian.
POSSESSION OF DRUGS: On 4/8/2013 at 4:25 am, Senior Trooper Gill responded to the Super 8 Motel in Prince Frederick for a check welfare complaint. Motel employees called about a person in the lobby who was stumbling, falling, and appeared disoriented. S/Tpr. Gill made contact with the subject identified as Elmer McCauley, 49 of Chesapeake Beach. During his contact with McCauley, drugs and drug paraphernalia were observed. Three other people with McCauley were also found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. McCauley, Debra A. Raskhodoff, 50, of Chesapeake Beach and Ryan J. McCauley, 24 of Glen Burnie, were all arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On 4/8/2013 at 4:46 am, Trooper First Class West responded to the 4400 block of Diane Court in Prince Frederick for an attempt to locate a wanted subject. Edward F. Kellermann 3rd, 26 of Prince Frederick, was located inside the home and was arrested. A search incident to the arrest revealed Kellermann was in possession of Oxycodone for which he did not have a prescription. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 4/10/2013 at 4:34 pm, Trooper S. Lewis responded to the 4400 block of Virginia Avenue in Prince Frederick for a reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The victim reported that Brian C Newman, 28 of Prince Frederick, removed the vehicle from the residence without the owner's permission. The vehicle was later returned to the owner and Newman was located and arrested by TFC Smith. During Smith's contact with Newman, stolen property was discovered in his possession. He was additionally charged with theft. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On 4/11/2013 at 10:04 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the 11900 block of Lexington Dr. in Dunkirk for a reported theft. The victim's cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Investigation continues.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE: On 4/14/2013 at 2:25 am, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Plum Point Rd. in Huntingtown. Dexter L. Harris, 34 of Lusby, was found to be driving without a license. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle he was driving had been taken from the owner without permission. He was arrested for driving without a license and additionally charged with unauthorized use of the motor vehicle. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
