PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (November 20, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.
TRESPASSING: On 11/7/2012 @ 12:17 am, Trooper First Class Casarella responded to the Super 8 Motel in Prince Frederick for a report of trespassing. Elizabeth M. Brock had been previously advised by the manager not to return to the motel. She was extremely intoxicated and refusing to leave. She was charged with trespassing and public intoxication and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARJUANA: On 11/9/2012 at 7:29 am, Trooper Matthews stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 and Sherry Lane in Prince Frederick. The driver, Kahnr A. Allegra, 21 of Lusby, was placed under arrest for driving on a suspended license. During a search of the vehicle, marijuana was found. Allegra and his passenger, Michael E. Swearingen, 21 of Lusby, were both charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT FROM VEHICLES: On 11/9/2012 at 8:02 am, Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the 3400 block of Lancer Ct. in Dunkirk in reference to theft from motor vehicles. The windows were broken out of two vehicles and stole miscellaneous items. Investigation continues.
RECOVERY OF STOLEN TAG: On 11/11/2012 at 8:18 am, Trooper Rowe observed a vehicle with a front tag missing. After checking further, Rowe discovered the vehicle was displaying a stolen tag through Fayetteville, NC. Jarvis W. Somerville, 36 of Hollywood, was charged with possessing a stolen tag and was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
DUI, UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 11/19/2012 at 5:00 pm, Trooper Barlow responded to Mason Rd. in Prince Frederick for a vehicle off the roadway. Jocquel B. Wallace, 26 of St. Leonard, was arrested for DUI. Investigation revealed that Wallace was driving a vehicle he was not authorized to use. He was additionally charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
BURGLARY: On 11/14/2012 at 10:54 am, Trooper First Class Casarella responded to the 100 block of Amber Lane in Huntingtown for a reported burglary. A garage and shed were entered through an unlocked door. A generator and a pressure washer were stolen. Investigation continues.
DUI, POSSESSION OF PERCOCET: On 11/14/2012 @ 11:28 pm, Trooper First Class Esnes stopped a vehicle at Rt. 231 and Prince Frederick Blvd. for traffic violations. The driver, Marcus Chase, 19 of Port Republic, was arrested for DUI. During a search to secure the vehicle, percocet and related drug paraphernalia were located. Chase was incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On 11/15/2012 @ 04:49 pm, Trooper Matthews responded to the 13000 block of St. Johns Creek Rd. in Lusby for a report of a theft. Unknown suspect(s) removed postal packages from the victim's property. Investigation continues.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 11/16/2012 @ 01:00 am, Trooper First Class Logsdon stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Dares Beach Rd. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. Michelle L. Pickens, 29 of Port Republic, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
