MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 15, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On Thursday, October 11, at 3:05am, TFC E. Page responded the area of Three Notch Road, south of Joy Lane in Hollywood for a report of a vehicle collision. TFC Page made contact with a witness, 24, of Hollywood and received information on the collision. TFC Page made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Rosilee Mary Bryant, 50, of Ridge, who was sitting in a Ford van. Ms. Bryant stated she was unsure if what happened but believed she hit a road sign. TFC Page performed Standard Field Sobriety tests on Ms. Bryant. Upon completion of the tests, Ms. Bryant was arrested for Driving under the Influence and transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. While being processed at the barrack, a call was broadcasted from St. Mary's County Emergency Communications Center that a Ford van similar to the vehicle Ms. Bryant was operating was reported stolen. TFC Page made contact with the victim, 70, of Ridge, and confirmed that the Ford van was the same one that Ms. Bryant was operating. Ms. Bryant was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center were she was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, October 11, at 2:00pm, TFC G. Thompson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15576) on Timothy Dwayne Holloway, 25, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on July 6. Mr. Holloway was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $1000: On Thursday, October 11, at 5:32pm, TFC M. Pitcher responded to Kohl's located at 22555 Three Notch Road for a reported theft/shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, TFC Pitcher made contact with Shanice Renee Barnes, 20, of Lexington Park who stated that she had stolen the items in question. TFC Pitcher then made contact with the witness, 42, of Lexington Park, and received information about the case. Based on the statements provided by both the suspect and witness, Ms. Barnes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Friday, October 12, at 1:26am, TFC E. Page was at WAWA located at 23141 Three Notch Road in California. While inside the establishment, TFC Page observed Brandon Cortez Wilson, 20, of Lexington Park reach over the counter and take two packs of cigarettes. TFC Page then confronted Mr. Wilson who stated that he didn't take anything from behind the counter. After further investigation, Mr. Wilson was arrested for theft and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
