MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 1, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

FALSE STATEMENT TO POLICE OFFICER: On 9/24/2012, Trooper First Class Esnes stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near the Rt. 2 split in Sunderland when the Mobile Plate Hunter 900 in his vehicle alerted him to the registered vehicle owner having a suspended/revoked license. Contact was made with the driver, who was not the registered owner but was driving without a license. It was later learned that he had identified himself with a false name. Sherman L. Mackall, 52, of Upper Marlboro, was charged with giving a false statement to a police officer. Additionally, he was found to have three open warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On 9/25/2012 at 7:06 pm, Trooper First Class Williams responded to Parole & Probation Office to serve a parole retake warrant on Mark E. Cress Jr., 29, of Prince Frederick. During a search following his arrest, several Oxycodone pills were located in Mr. Cress possession. He was arrested for Possession of Oxycodone and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 9/27/2012 at 1:43 am, Trooper Oles stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Hospital Dr. for traffic violations. Contact was made with the driver, Darrin J. Williams, 24, of Fredericksburg, Va. While speaking with the driver, a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. A search revealed both marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Williams was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Brady A. ARGENT, 19, of Sunderland, arrested on 09/30/2012 @ 02:05 am by TPR. S. Lewis

Nicole R. ALFORD, 32, of Edgewater, arrested on 09/30/2012 @ 02:59 pm by TFC M. Gill
