MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (September 10, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF HEROIN: On 8/31/2012 at 5:00 pm, Trooper First Class West responded to the Calvert Auto Body in Prince Frederick for possible drugs located in a stored vehicle. Heroin and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Krystal L. Morgan, 32 and Richard T. Eubanks Sr., 39, both of Huntingtown, were arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 9/3/2012 at 3:43 pm, Trooper Matthews stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Skinners Turn Road at Rt. 4 in Owings. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Tiffany D. Doby, 28 of Tracy's Landing and Kody K. Hill, 20 of Lothian, were arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. A juvenile passenger was charged and released to a parent.

THEFT: On 9/3/2012 at 9:54 am, Trooper Matthews responded to the 300 block of Rivers Reach Ct. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Prescription medication was stolen from the residence. Investigation continues and charges are pending.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTION ORDER: On 9/4/2012 at 6:30 pm, Trooper First Class Parker responded to the 900 block of Woods Rd. in St. Leonard for a disorderly person. Donald C. Fleshman 3rd, 35 of St. Leonard, was found to be extremely intoxicated and disruptive. Investigation revealed that he had a protective order against him prohibiting contact with one of the occupants in the home. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

CONCEALED DANGEROUS WEAPON: On 9/5/2012 at 7:18 am, Trooper First Class West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 near Sherry Lane in Prince Frederick. Nicholas A. Stache, 28 of Lusby, informed TFC West that he had a knife in the vehicle. He was subsequently charged and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

FALSE STATEMENT, TELEPHONE MISUSE: On 9/5/2012 at 4:04 pm, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 300 block of Rivers Reach Ct. in Prince Frederick to check the welfare of a person who was allegedly bleeding. Investigation revealed that the information given in the call was false. Charges are pending against Joann Jennifer, 54 of Prince Frederick, for a false statement and telephone misuse.

POSSESSION OF ECSTACY, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 9/5/2012 at 11:38 pm, Trooper Matthews stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Dares Beach Rd. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. A consent search of the vehicle revealed Ecstacy and drug paraphernalia. Richard C. Hewitt, 3rd, 36 of Solomons, was charged and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On 9/8/2012 at 11:36 am, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the 4700 block of St. Leonard Rd. in St. Leonard for a reported burglary. The victim's shed was broken into and several items were stolen, including a Brad Nailer and Stapler, Skil Saw, Porter Air Compressor, Cobalt Mitre Saw, Craftsman Biscuit Cutter and miscellaneous bits. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 9/8/2012 at 4:58 pm, Trooper Palumbo responded to the K-Mart in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Surveillance shows Donta J. Estep, 21 of Prince Frederick, removing cash from the layway tray. Investigation also revealed that he stole a Madden 2013 Xbox game and an Iphone 4 case. Charges are pending.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 9/9/2012 at 7:23 am, Trooper Esnes responded to Rt. 4 and David Gray Rd. in Port Republic, to check an unattended vehicle. Unknown suspect(s) broke the windows on the 1998 Lincoln Town Car that had become disabled. Investigation continues.
