LA PLATA, Md. (August 31, 2012)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On Aug. 29 between 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in the 6800 block of Mason Springs Road in Indian Head and stole jewelry and cash. Officers conducted a neighborhood canvass and processed the scene for evidence. PFC. C. Deehan is investigating.
DRUG ARREST: On Aug. 28 at 10:55 p.m., officers responded to the 9100 block of Granite Court in Waldorf for the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers observed a male standing in the front yard. As they approached, the man threw a bag to the ground and fled. Officers apprehended the man and recovered a bag of marijuana. Andre Carlos Davis, 23, of Waldorf, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Cpl. T. Tona investigated.
BURGLARY: On Aug. 28 between 7:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Turtle Dove Place in Waldorf for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with a resident who reported two televisions and a DVD player were missing from the house. Officers processed the scene and recovered possible evidence. Officer C. Garner is investigating.
BURGLARY: Between Aug. 21 - Aug. 27, unknown suspect(s) broke into an office in the 11300 block of Pembrooke Square in Waldorf and stole medical supplies. Officer M. Kelly is investigating.
