MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (August 20, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Thursday, August 16, at 9:41am, TFC E. Evans responded to the McKay's Food and Drug located on Signature Lane, in Lexington Park for a reported theft. Upon arrival, TFC Evans made contact with the complainant, 54, of Callaway. After speaking with the complainant, TFC Evans responded to the address that returned to the Maryland registration plate provided by the complainant. Upon arrival at the 45000 block of Great Mills Court, TFC Evans made contact with Marquita Shanez Gross, 28, of Great Mills. After speaking with Ms. Gross and the complainant, Ms. Gross was arrested and charged with Theft under One Hundred. She was charged on a criminal citation and was released from scene with a mandatory court date of August 31.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, August 16, at 4:13pm, Tpr. E. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-15639) on Keith Marcell Campbell, 27, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Second Degree Assault on August 9. Mr. Campbell was located at the St. Mary's County Parole and Probation Office and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On Thursday, August 16, at 5:48pm, Tpr. E. Reuschling responded to the 39000 block of Johnson Manor Farm Lane in Morganza, for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, Tpr. Reuschling made contact with the complainant, 68, of Morganza, who advised that he heard what he thought was a verbal dispute. When contact was made with the female complainant, 20, of Morganza, she advised that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. She identified her boyfriend as William Jerald Milken, 25, of Morganza. Mr. Milken was located at the wood line of the property and arrested. Mr. Milken was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review by the District Court Commissioner.

ROBBERY On Friday, August 17, at 1:36am, Tpr. E. Mersman responded to Dash In, located at 30100 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, for a reported Robbery. Upon arrival, Tpr. Mersman mad contact with the complainant, 21, of Mechanicsville, who stated the suspect was still inside the store. Once additional units arrived on scene of the Dash In, Tpr. Mersman entered the establishment and made contact with the suspect Kevin Lee Kramer, 51, of Gambrills. Mr. Kramer was behind the counter with an undisclosed amount of money in his hands. Mr. Kramer was asked to put the money down, come from behind the counter and lay on the floor. Mr. Kramer was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, August 17, at 5:28am, TFC M. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-15637) on Myron Anthony Nelson, 45, of California. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on August 8. Mr. Nelson turned himself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, August 17, at 4:20pm, TFC E. Page served a Bench Warrant (T3-15648) on Charles William Cox, 32, of Colton's Point. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Charles County with an original charge of Theft Less Than One Thousand on August 14. Mr. Cox turned himself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, August 17, at 10:45pm, TFC E. Page served a Bench Warrant (T3-15645) on Corey Dare, 22, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Probation Violation on August 13. Mr. Cox was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 20, at 12:42am, TFC M. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-15650) on Russell Leroy Jordan, 24, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Suspended on August 17. Mr. Jordan was located at McDonalds in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
