MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (August 9, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 6, at 9:00am, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15559) on Candice Louise Richardson, 24, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on June 22.Ms. Richardson was located at the Detention Center, and she was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On Monday, August 6, at 2:14pm, Tpr. E. Reuschling responded to 20000 block of ROH Ranch Road, located in Callaway for a reported assault. Upon arrival, Tpr. Reuschling made contact with the complainant, 63, of Callaway. The complainant advised that he was in a verbal altercation that turned physical with Stacy Lynn Sboto, 36, of Callaway. Tpr. Reuschling the made contact with Ms. Sboto. After further investigation Ms. Sboto was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 6, at 2:45pm, TFC N. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15616) on Alexandra Spencer Barnes, 55, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the St. Mary's County District Court with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence on July 24. Mr. Barnes was located at the Probation Office and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 6, at 3:30pm, TFC J. Gibson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15626) on Richard L. Thompson, Jr., 25, of La Plata. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Charles County with an original charge of Possession of CDS on August 3. Mr. Thompson was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday August, 6 at 4:10pm, TFC R. Jackson conducted a traffic stop on a silver Hyundai sedan traveling on Lockes Hill Road in Mechanicsville, for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, TFC Jackson was able to positively identify the operator, 17, of Mechanicsville. While speaking with the operator, TFC Jackson detected the odor of burnt CDS emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle and person revealed both CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. The operator was arrested and transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing. He was charged accordingly and released to his mother from the barrack, with further action pending by juvenile services.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, August 6, at 4:33pm, TFC A. Malaspina conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota sedan traveling on Point Lookout Road in the area of Piney Point Road, for a traffic violation. Upon approaching he vehicle, TFC Malaspina was able to positively identify the operator as Ryan Nicholas Evans, 21, of Piney Point. While speaking to Mr. Evans, TFC Malaspina detected the odor of burnt CDS emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the person and vehicle resulted in both CDS and CDS Paraphernalia being recovered. Mr. Evans was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, August 8, at 12:50am, TFC E. Evans conducted a traffic stop on a black Kia traveling on Chancellors Run Road in the area of Pegg Road, for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, TFC Evans was able to positively identify the operator as Brittney Marissa Jacques, 19, of Lancaster Pennsylvania. While speaking to Ms. Jacques, TFC Evans detected a odor of Burnt CDS emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in both CDS and CDS Paraphernalia being recovered. Ms. Jacques was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 8, at 7:08am, Tpr. E. Reuschling served a Grand Jury Indictment (T3-15599) on Shyann Nicole Ringley, 20, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Possession of CDS on July 17. Ms. Ringley was located at her address in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, August 9, at 3:09am, Tpr. W. Couter served a Bench Warrant (T3-15622) on Lester James Kraft, 50, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Knowingly and Fraudulently Attempting to Obtain a License Permit by Misrepresentation on August 1. Mr. Kraft was located at the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with District Court Commissioner.
