LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 31, 2012)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office has released the following incident and arrest reports.
INDECENT EXPOSURE: On July 26, two female victims were dining at a local restaurant in Lexington Park when they observed a male subject deliberately exposing his genitalia. The victims immediately notified the manager who called police. Police units arrived on the scene and obtained a description of the suspect's vehicle from the manager. BCI was contacted and assumed the investigation. On July 27, a suspect was identified by BCI
detectives as [redacted**]. [redacted] was subsequently arrested, charged with two counts of Indecent Exposure and taken before a District Court
commissioner. [redacted] was later released on personal recognizance by the commissioner.
**2014-NOV-03: The accused provided court documentation which demonstrated
that both charges of indecent exposure were dropped by the court on 2013-MAY-24
after he entered pleas of not guilty. The court subsequently ordered official

BURGLARY ARRESTS: During weekly CompStat meetings, a trend was identified linking multiple burglaries to private residences in the Hollywood, Bushwood, and Chaptico areas of St. Mary's County which occurred during the months of May and June, 2012. St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office crime analysts and allied agencies working with detectives identified similar burglaries in Charles and Calvert Counties. Following a joint investigation by detectives BCI, Charles County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, and the Calvert County Investigative Team, multiple search warrants were executed resulting in the recovery of stolen property. Timothy Lee Elder, 23, of Lusby, and Kimberly Michelle Dove, 26, of Mechanicsville, were each charged with Burglary 1st Degree (3 Counts) and Theft $1,000 - $10,000 (3 Counts) for the crimes committed in St. Mary's County. Additional charges are pending a review by the State's Attorney's Office.
FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT INVESTIGATION, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, HINDERING, FAILING TO OBEY A LAWFUL ORDER, AND POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE: On July 29, deputies responded to the Lexington on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a report of a large crowd in the parking lot (approximately 200 individuals). As officers were attempting to control the crowd, several subject began to fight. Gun shots were fired and a victim was struck in the shoulder. During the altercations and assault investigation the following individuals were arrested for disorder conduct and/or other associated charges:
-- Berry Devon Hillian, 25 of Callaway - disorderly conduct;
-- David Michael Faxon, 28 of Lexington Park - disorderly conduct and hindering; and
-- Bryan Andre Carter, 35 of St. Inigoes - failing to obey a lawful order of a police officer and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected marijuana.
The victim of the shooting, a 26-year-old male, was flown to Prince George's Shock Trauma with non-life threating injuries. The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene and is continuing the investigation.

TRESPASSING: On August 31, Steven Roger Jerome, Jr., 25 of Leonardtown, was served with a notice not to trespass in the Hickory Hill South subdivision. On July 24, he entered onto the property of the Hickory Hills subdivision in violation of the notice not to trespass. Jerome was charged with trespassing.
SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 25, deputies responded to a residence on Rue Purchase Road in Lexington Park for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Rodney Wade Wright, 42 of Lexington Park, engaged in a verbal dispute with two individuals at the residence. The dispute escalated into a physical assault when Wright punched the one victim and threw the second victim to the ground. As deputies were investigating the assaults, Wright attempted to flee on foot. Deputies yelled for Wright to stop but he refused. After a short foot chase, deputies caught up with Wright but he continued to resist arrest. Wright was eventually handcuffed and charged with two count of second degree assault, failing to obey a lawful order of a police officer and resisting arrest.
FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 25, deputies responded to a residence on Allston Lane in Hollywood. Investigation revealed Ryan Jensen Albertsen, 25 of Ridge, was engaged in a fight with one individual at the residence, when a second individual attempted to intervene and stop the fight. Albertsen punched the individual attempting to stop the fight in the face. Albertsen then pulled a pocket knife and made a stabbing motion towards the first individual striking him the abdomen and causing a small puncture wound. Albertsen was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault.
THEFT: On July 26, deputies responded to the WaWa in Lexington Park for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed Philip Jerome Ford, 56 of California, removed items from the store shelf, walked past all points of purchase and exited business without paying for the items. Ford was arrested and charged with theft.
THEFT AND THEFT SCHEME: On July 26, deputies responded to the Wal-Mart for a report of theft. In May of 2012, Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Officers were advised of a possible theft scheme involving diesel oil containers from the store. Wal-Mart Loss Prevention initiated an investigation and reviewed surveillance footage. The surveillance footage revealed that Robin Lynn Thomas-Bailey, 45 of Leonardtown, had entered the store on at least two occasions and stole diesel fuel containers, a lawn mower and other items. The value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $700.00. Thomas-Bailey was arrested and charged with theft and theft scheme.
SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 26, deputies responded to a residence on Valley Court in Lexington Park for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Michael Joseph Harrison, 45 of Lexington Park, was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Harrison choked the victim. Harrison was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
BURGLARY, SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 27, deputies responded to a residence on Forrest Landing Road in Hollywood for a report of a burglary and an assault. Investigation revealed Jeffery Charles Burch, 31 of Leonardtown, who is a former resident of the house, entered the residence without permission, assaulted two individuals in the residence and then fled prior to the arrival of the deputies. Burch was located a short time later, arrested and charged with burglary and two counts of second degree assault.
SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 27, deputies responded to a residence on Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Tyler Allen Messick, 19 of Leonardtown, was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Messick struck the victim in the face. Messick fled prior to the deputies' arrival but was located a short time later, arrested and charged with second degree assault.
TRESPASSING: On July 29, deputies responded to a residence on Town Creek Drive in Lexington Park for a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised Fredy Herman Eatman II, 47, of N.W. Washington, DC was at the residence and refusing to leave. The complainant again told Eatman to leave the residence and he refused. Eatman was arrested and charged with trespassing.
FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT: On July 28, deputies responded to a residence of Fairground Road in Leonardtown for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that on July 28, from approximately 10:15 pm until 11:30 pm, Richard Lewis Goldsmith, 43 of Leonardtown, held the victim against her will, displayed a knife and threatened to kill the victim. Further investigation revealed Goldsmith stabbed a pillow which was lying next to the victim several time with the knife. The victim was able to escape from Goldsmith when he temporarily released his grasp of her. The victim fled from the residence and called 911. Goldsmith fled the residence prior to the deputies' arrival but responded to the Sheriff's Office Headquarters a short time later. Goldsmith was arrested and charged with first degree assault, second degree assault and false imprisonment.
STORAGE UNIT BURGLARY: During the months of June and July 2012, police units responded to Potomac Self Storage and Patuxent Self Storage located in Lexington Park for the report of multiple burglaries to storage units wherein various personal items were stolen. On July 27, police units responded to a residence in Lexington Park for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival the officers observed stolen property believed to be from the storage units and the owner of one of the storage units attempting to retrieve his stolen property from two male subjects.
BCI was contacted and assumed the investigation. Following interviews with the suspects and the execution of two search and seizure warrants, multiple stolen items were recovered. Troy D. Cutchember, 21, of California, and Vashon V. Wills, 21, of Lexington Park, were arrested, charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Burglary, two counts of Malicious Destruction of Property over $500, three counts of Theft over $1,000 but less than $10,000, and incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center under no bond. Numerous additional charges are pending following a review by the State's Attorney's Office.
