MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 26, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, July 23, at 10:20am, TFC J. Pilkerton served a Bench Warrant (T3-15609) on Lisa Marie Tippett, 47, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Trespass on Private Property on July 20. Ms. Tippett was served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center, were she was held pending a bond review by the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, July 23, at 12:05pm, TFC J. Pilkerton served a Bench Warrant (T3-15557) on Jennifer L. Willis, 27, of California. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of CDS Possession on June 22. Ms. Willis was served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center, were she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Monday, July 23, at 5:00pm, Tpr. E. Reuschling responded to the Kohl's Department store located on Three Notch Road in Lexington Park for a reported theft in progress. Upon arrival Tpr. Reuschling made contact with the Loss Prevention personnel who had the suspect in custody. Tpr. Reuschling made contact with the suspect, a 16-year-old female, of Morganza. After further investigation and conversations with both the suspect and the Loss Prevention personnel, the suspect was arrested and transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for fingerprinting and photographing. She was charged with Theft Under $100, and released to her mother, pending further action by juvenile services.

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, July 24, at 4:13pm, TFC N. Gresko conducted a traffic stop on a blue Lincoln passenger vehicle in the CVS parking lot, located on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, TFC Gresko was able to identify the driver as well as the passengers as Carlonte Antoine Knott, 20, of Hollywood, Joseph Desalle Thomas, 48, of Great Mills, and a male suspect, 15, of Hollywood. While on the traffic stop, TFC Gresko detected at strong odor of burnt CDS emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle and persons revealed both CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. All three subjects were transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. The 15 year old suspect was charged and release to his grandmother, pending further action by juvenile services. Mr. Knott and Mr. Thomas were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. They were charged accordingly and held pending a pond review with the District Court Commissioner.
