MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF SYNTHETIC MARIJUANA: On 6/13/2012 at 12:43 am, TFC C. Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Commerce Lane. An open alcoholic beverage was observed in the vehicle. A search revealed synthetic marijuana in the vehicle. Todd Howard Kingman, Jr., 19, of Hughesville was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center pending a bond review.

THEFT: On 6/14/2012 at 12:46 pm, TFC Adam Merkelson was dispatched to R & R Fabrication Incorporated, Prince Frederick, for a reported theft. The company account was used to purchase desktop computers. The investigation is continuing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 6/14/2012 at 1:58 pm, Trooper S. Lewis was dispatched to Sherry Lane, Prince Frederick, for the report of a destruction of property. Terri Lee Gale, 49, of Charlotte Hall intentionally slammed a door which caused damage to the business. Trooper Lewis is continuing the investigation.

THEFT: On 6/15/2012 at 7:34 pm, Trooper S. Lewis responded to the Chesapeake Beach Water Park in reference to a theft. The victim's purse and canvas tote bag, containing clothing, an Ipod and U.S. currency, was stolen. Trooper Lewis is continuing the investigation.

BURGLARY AND ASSAULT: On 6/16/2012 at 9:56 am, TFC K. Donaldson was dispatched to Harley Drive, in Dunkirk for a reported assault. While enroute to the residence, the Calvert Control Center broadcast the description of the suspect who had fled the scene. TFC Donaldson observed a subject fitting the description and made contact. The suspect was identified as Tavon Lee Randall, 26 of Dunkirk. Investigation revealed that Randall entered his neighbor's home and assaulted him. Randall was arrested and charged with Burglary and Assault. Randall was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 6/16/2012 at 7:53 pm, Trooper S. Lewis stopped a vehicle in the Prince Frederick area for traffic violations. Upon approaching the vehicle, Trooper Lewis detected the strong odor of marijuana. The driver, John Quentin Hancock, 37, Washington, DC, was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. Hancock was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center, pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 6/17/2012 at 1:23 am, TFC C. Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on HG Trueman Road in Lusby. During a search of the vehicle, Marijuana was located. Michael Thomas Fulcher, Jr., 20, Raeford, NC was arrested and charged with possession of Marijuana. Fulcher was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center, pending a bond review.

POSSESSION OF SYNTHETIC MARIJUANA: On 6/17/2012 at 1:32 am, Trooper J. Oles responded to a call at Hospital Road, Prince Frederick for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon Trooper Oles' arrival, he was contacted by Calvert Memorial Hospital staff that advised that a patient appeared to be impaired by drugs and was acting disorderly. A CMH hospital staff member approached Trooper Oles and advised that he had located a small metallic canister in the suspect's possession. Scott Nicholas Gagliardi, 35, of Prince Frederick, was arrested for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana. Gagliardi was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center pending a bond review.

SCHADE, Brittney Renee, 25, of Huntingtown, arrested on 6/12/2012 by TFC K. Logsdon

BUTLER, Alonzo, 60, of Seat Pleasant, arrested on 6/14/2012 by TFC B. Sorenson

BICKFORD, Joshua Kenney, 19, of Dunkirk, arrested on 6/15/2012 by TPR S. Lewis

DAWSON, Darrell I, Jr., 35, of Huntingtown, arrested on 6/16/2012 by TFC K. Logsdon

KROPKOWSKI, Zachary George, 19, of Huntingtown, arrested on 6/17/2012 by TFC C. Esnes
