LA PLATA, Md. (June 7, 2012)The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
CCSO DETECTIVES SEEK IDENTITY OF ROBBERY SUSPECT/ CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD: Charles County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the identity of a man wanted in connection with a citizen robbery that occurred near Lakewood Place at Sweetbriar Place in Waldorf. Detectives believe the suspect's description is distinct and want anyone with information about a possible identity to call. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
On June 1 at 12 p.m., the victim was walking in the neighborhood when a lone male approached her from behind. He displayed a knife and demanded the victim's property. The victim complied and the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20's, 5'10, thin build and a deep voice. At the time of the robbery, the suspect had long, waist-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans and appeared to have poor hygiene.

THEFT: Between June 4 - June 6, unknown suspect(s) stole two bicycles which were in the front of a garage in the 5700 block of Ripley Park Drive in La Plata. A silver colored men's style Schwinn mountain bike and a woman's pink and white mountain bike were stolen. PFC P. McDonald is investigating.
BURGLARY: On June 5 between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a house on Riverside Run Drive in Indian Head and stole computers and other miscellaneous items. PFC B. Moore is investigating.
THEFT FROM AUTO: On June 6 between 2:15 a.m. - 2:45 a.m., unknown suspect(s) broke out the window of a car parked in the parking lot at 3045 Festival Way in Waldorf and stole a wallet which was left inside the vehicle. Officer D. Gehrman is investigating.
