LEONARDTOWN, Md.—County Administrator John Savich has announced he will be taking medical leave effective Monday, June 4.
In a message to County employees on Tuesday Savich said: "I'll be out on medical leave, probably for the full month of June. I wanted us to get the budget done before taking the time off and now the path is clear. I'll be back shortly, either just before or right after the 4th of July."
In his absence Sue Sabo, the County's Director of Human Resources, will serve as acting County Administrator.
