MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (May 29, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On 5/22/2012 at 8:12 pm, Trooper First Class Wiersma responded to the 4900 block of Storeplace Ln. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. A Sony Playstation 3 gaming console, game controllers, several Playstation games and a diamond ring were stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.

ASSAULT: On 5/22/2012 at 11:50 pm, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the 200 block of Sun Park Ln. in Huntingtown for a report of an assault. James D. Wilkinson 3rd, 26 of Huntingtown, was extremely intoxicated and became involved in a physical altercation with his father, James D. Wilkinson, Jr., 52 of Huntingtown. The father struck the son in the head two times with a baseball bat causing a laceration to the top of his head. Wilkinson 3rd, was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital for treatment. Both subjects were later charged with various assault charges.

THEFT: On 5/24/2012 at 4:48 pm, Trooper Matthews responded to the 5000 block of Consent Dr. in Port Republic for a reported theft. Prescription drugs were stolen from within the residence by an unknown suspect. Investigation continues.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, ASSAULT: On 5/24/2012 at 5:37 pm, Trooper First Class Wiersma responded to a call for a disorderly subject near the Fox Run Shopping Center in Prince Frederick. Aaron M. Ballard, 28 of Chesapeake Beach, was placed under arrest. During the arrest, the Ballard assaulted TFC Wiersma. Ballard was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 5/24/2012 at 11:51 am, Trooper Oles responded to Boyles Tavern in St. Leonard for a disorderly subject. Phyllis O. Stewart, 46 of North Beach, was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 5/25/2012 at 8:14 pm, Trooper Matthews responded to the 800 Willow Way in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Money was stolen from the victim's bedroom. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 5/26/2012 at 1:22 pm, Trooper First Class West responded to the 1000 block of Stephen Reid Dr. in Huntingtown for a reported theft. Perfume was stolen from the residence by a former tenant. Investigation continues.

Shawn T. GREENFIELD, 23, of Prince Frederick, arrested on 05/26/2012 @ 01:40 am by TFC A. Merkelson

Shawn P. THOMPSON, 36, of Lusby, arrested on 05/28/2012 @ 11:51 pm by TPR. S. Matthews
