PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 19, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/15/2012 at 10:55 am, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 261 south of Rt. 260 in Chesapeake Beach. The odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. Flakes of Marijuana were observed on the passenger's lap. A search of the vehicle revealed additional Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Edward R. Coleman, 40 of Quinwood, WV, and Vincent C. Poole, 39 of Charmco, W.V., were arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 3/15/2012 at 6:45 pm, Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on 9th St. at Summer City Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach. Two glass Marijuana smoking devices were observed in the vehicle. Theodore J. Blankenbaker, 18 of Port Republic, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
BURGLARY: On 3/16/2012 at 3:46 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the 5000 block of Macs Hollow Rd. in Prince Frederick for a residential alarm. A search of the home revealed that someone had entered the home and stole a large amount of coins. Investigation continues.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/16/2012 at 7:43 pm, Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Emmanuel Church Rd. at Queensberry Dr. in Prince Frederick. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. A search revealed a baggie of Marijuana hidden on the driver. Richard M. Morrison, 21 of Prince Frederick, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
