LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 13, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, March 8 at 7:50pm, TFC R. L. Jackson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15406) on John Robert Townshend, 52, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued on March 8 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of CDS Possession - Not Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, and Attempt by Driver to Elude Police by Fleeing on Foot. Mr. Townshend was located and served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 9 at 2:58pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-14960) on Tyrone Robert Thompson, 30, of an Unknown Fixed Address. The Circuit Court Warrant was issued for Mr. Thompson's arrest on May 12, 2011 with an original charge of Violation of Probation - Robbery. Mr. Thompson was located in the area of Worth Avenue in California and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 9 at 8:45pm, TFC R. L. Jackson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15356) on Joseph Paul Smith, 19, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued for Mr. Smith's arrest on February 3 with an original charge of Theft Less Than $1000.00 Value by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Smith was located in the 24000 block of Steve Uhler Road in Hollywood and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, March 10 at 1:00pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15408) on Rachel Lynn Posey, 23, of Abell. The warrant was issued on March 9 with an original charge of Driving Without A License by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Ms. Posey was located in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, March 11 at 3:30pm, TFC N. E. Gresko and TFC E. J. Page served two outstanding Arrest Warrants (T3-15337 / T3-15338) on Rayshawn Deontaye Douglas, 22, of Lexington Park. The warrants were both issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on January 25. Both warrants had original charges of Theft and additional charge of Rogue and Vagabond as well as Malicious Destruction of Property. Mr. Douglas was located on a routine traffic stop and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, March 11 at 8:30pm, TFC A. J. Malaspina served a Bench Warrant (T3-15391) on David Brian Hammett, Jr., 31, of Piney Point. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge Unauthorized Removal of Property on February 28. Mr. Hammett was located in Calvert County, MD and held on a detainer until custody was transferred to MSP Leonardtown Personnel. Mr. Hammett was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center by TFC Malaspina and served. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, March 12 at 12:10pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15400) on Bradley C. Davis, 21, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of CDS Possession - Marijuana on March 2 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Davis was taken into custody when he turned himself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, March 12 at 4:00pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15410) on Tyrone Robert Thompson, 30, of an Unknown Fixed Address. The warrant was issued on March 11 with an original charge of False Statement to an Officer by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Thompson was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center and served. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, March 12 at 9:15pm, Cpl. M. W. Laney served a Bench Warrant (T3-15405) on Steven James Roberts, 49, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued for Mr. Roberts' arrest on March 7 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving an Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Roberts was located in the 23000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
