MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 12, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/5/2012 at 08:41 pm, Trooper Barlow stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Main St. at Wilson Ct. in Prince Frederick. During the stop, Arthur L. Harrod, 60 of Huntingtown, tossed a bag of marijuana on the side of the road. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

WARRANT SERVICE, POSSESSION OF PILLS: On 3/5/2012 at 11:37 am, Trooper Williams stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Rousby Hall Rd. at Barreda Blvd. in Lusby. A passenger, Adelina Garza, 31 of Lusby, was arrested on an open warrant. During a search, she was found to be in possession of Oxycodone for which she did not have a prescription. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES: On 3/6/2012 at 10:01 am, Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the 600 block of Folly Lane in Prince Frederick for a reported theft from vehicle. Cash and two Apple Ipods were stolen from two unsecured vehicles in the victim's driveway. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/7/2012 at 11:56 am, Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Cassell Blvd. at Dares Beach Rd. in Prince Frederick. Amber M. Drake, 19 of Huntingtown, was found to be in possession of marijuana during a search. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/7/2012 at 11:57 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Rt. 4 at Patuxent Point Pkwy. in Solomons. Bruno Former, 44 of Pantego, NC was arrested for DUI. During a search he was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/8/2012 at 12:02 pm, Trooper Smith stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Dares Beach Rd. at Central Village in Prince Frederick. The vehicle was found to be displaying a stolen registration plate. During a search of the vehicle, Marijuana was located. Allin G. Holland, 33 of Lusby, and Erica V. Brooks, 26 of Lexington Park, were arrested and charged. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 3/8/2012 at 4:21 pm, Trooper S. Lewis responded to the 10400 block of Ward Rd. in Dunkirk for a reported theft. Various tools, including a Homelite chainsaw, garden tools were stolen. Various aluminum and scrap metal items were also stolen. All items were stolen from three sheds on the property. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 3/11/2012 at 1:07 pm, Trooper Smith responded to the 8200 block of Broomes Island Rd. in Broomes Island for a reported theft. Hedge trimmers, a Stihl Chain saw and Stihl backpack leaf blower were stolen from the victim's garage. Investigation continues.
