LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 1, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Monday, February 27 at 12:43am, TFC M. A. Moore responded to the 45000 block of North Springsteen Court in California for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with two female complainants, 38 and 17, of California. According to the complainants, they were assaulted by Olando Litpaul Berry, 38, of Waldorf while in the residence. TFC Moore than made contact with Mr. Berry who appeared to be intoxicated. A routine query through METERS/NCIC resulted in Mr. Berry being arrested for an unrelated warrant and the Second Degree Assault. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was processed accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, March 1 at 1:20am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling conducted a traffic stop on a green Jeep in the area of Darcy Lane and Maryland Route 246. Upon making contact with the operation, George Dewayne Mulloy, 49, of Lexington Park, Tpr. Reuschling detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Subsequently, standardized Field Sobriety was performed on the scene of the stop which Mr. Mulloy was unsuccessful in completing. A search incident to arrest for Driving Under the Influence resulted in the retrieval of CDS from Mr. Mulloy's rear pocket. A further search of the vehicle, following information provided by Mr. Mulloy revealed additional CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Mulloy was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for DUI processing, prior to being transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
