MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (February 28, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On 2/22/12 at 8:09 am, Trooper Oles responded to the Giant grocery store in Prince Frederick for a shoplifting complaint. Anthony Gray, 44 of Prince Frederick was arrested after loading a shopping cart with merchandise and leaving the store. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 2/23/12 at 9:50 pm, Senior Trooper Johns responded to the Burger King restaurant in Solomons for a reported theft. A wallet was stolen from the employee's break room. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF HEROIN: On 2/25/12 at 9:34 pm, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Elm Lane near Rt. 260 in Chesapeake Beach. The driver, Edward F. Kellermann III, 24 of Prince Frederick, had an open warrant through Calvert County Sheriff's Office and was arrested. A search after the arrest revealed that he was in possession of Heroin. The passenger, Adam D. Bowen, 23 of Huntingtown, was also arrested for possession of Heroin.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/26/12 at 11:06 am, Trooper Barlow responded to a possible domestic argument on the side of the roadway at the intersection of Dares Beach Road and Clay Hammond Road in Prince Frederick. Two subjects were standing outside of a vehicle arguing. During the investigation, Roger L. Hill, 52 of Huntingtown, was found to be in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 2/26/12 at 12:00 am, Trooper Matthews responded to the Fastop convenience store in St. Leonard for a shoplifting complaint. A witness observed a person steal items from the store. A suspect has been identified and theft charges are pending.

POSSESSION OF CRACK COCAINE & PERCOCET: On 2/26/12 at 6:16 pm, Trooper First Class West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Costley Way in Prince Frederick. The driver, Mario P. Le, 30 of Huntingtown, was found to be in possession of percocet for which he did not have a prescription and was arrested. The passenger, Brandon A. Mackall, 29 of Prince Frederick, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and was also arrested. Both were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/27/12 at 10:46 pm, Trooper First Class Evans initiated a traffic stop on Stamper Court in Prince Frederick. While speaking with the driver, the odor of marijuana emitted from within the vehicle. Steven K. Smith, 23 of Port Republic was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
