LA PLATA, Md. (January 27, 2012)—The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest report.
DRUG ARREST: On January 22 at approximately 2:46 a.m., TFC S. Murphy was patrolling southbound MD Route 5, north of Oliver Shop Road when he observed a red BMW cross the solid yellow line on two occasions. TFC Murphy stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Brannon Mickeal Ramgett, 23, of La Plata. Ramgeet was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
