MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (January 25, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 11:24pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Maryland Route 4 for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, contact was made with the operator, Christopher Len Senese, 24, of Leonardtown. While speaking with Mr. Senese, TFC Pitcher detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. When this observation was explained to Mr. Senese he confirmed the presence of CDS in the vehicle. A probable cause search was performed revealing CDS and CDS Paraphernalia in the vehicle. Mr. Senese was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

TRESPASS: On Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:44pm, Tpr. S. M. Ditoto responded to the Wawa located in the 22000 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female complainant, 41, of Lusby who advised two subjects were causing a disturbance in the establishment. Contact was made with both subjects, who were positively identified and issued notices not to trespass. When informing the complainant of the status of the situation, Tpr. Ditoto was made aware that a notice not to trespass had been previously issued on one of the subjects, Eileen Day Jackson, 44, of Lexington Park. Subsequently, Ms. Jackson was placed under arrest for Trespassing, as she was in violation of the previous order issued. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, charged and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 5:00pm, TFC J. S. Gibson served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15182) on Anna Ruth Stamp, 42, of Dickinson, Texas. The warrant was issued for Ms. Stamp's arrest on October 13, 2011 with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Ms. Stamp was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT 1ST DEGREE: On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:16am, Tpr. S. M. Ditoto responded to the 43000 block of Megan Lane in Leonardtown for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female complainant, 43, of Leonardtown who advised that she had been involved in a verbal altercation that started in the previous evening and had since become a physical assault. The complainant advised that during the course of the argument the suspect, John Edwin Smith, 43, of Leonardtown, turned a handgun on her and advised it was "ready to use". Additionally, the complainant advised Mr. Smith grabbed her arm during a later portion of the argument. Contact was then made with Mr. Smith, who provided an account of the incident. All handguns in the house were seized by law enforcement personnel, in accordance with policy and procedures, and Mr. Smith was placed under arrest for First Degree Assault. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 8:00pm, TFC J.S. Gibson conducted a traffic stop on a Jeep in the area of Indian Bridge Road and Long Bow Drive in California for a reported traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, contact was made with the operator and three additional passengers. While attempting to identify all of the occupants, TFC Gibson detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was performed, revealing CDS in the pants pockets of the front passenger, Trevor Luke Wasem, 21, of Lusby. Mr. Wasem was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was processed and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 12:15pm, TFC E. J. Page served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15318) on Grafton Samuel Robinson, 20, of Saint Leonard. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on January 18, 2012 with an original charge of Violation of Ex Parte / Protective Order. Mr. Robinson was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center, served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 7:10pm, TFC R. L. Jackson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15323) on Crystal Lashawn Holmes, 29, of Callaway. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License on January 6, 2012 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Ms. Holmes turned herself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, January 20, 2012 at 12:30am, Cpl. F. Logsdon served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15313) on Cortina Lynn Nelson, 42, of Callaway. The warrant was issued for Ms. Nelson's arrest on January 13, 2012 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Fraud: Per Id Info / Theft Scheme. Ms. Nelson was located at the Detention Center and served on the warrant. She was additionally held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 7:25am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-15322) on Louise Elizabeth Lockhart, 25, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on January 19, 2012 with an original charge of CDS Possession - Not Marijuana and Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Lockhart was located in the 15000 block of Oaks Road in Charlotte Hall and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 9:45am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-15315) on Jeffrey A. Bice, 27, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Bice was located in the 27000 block of Dogwood Lane in Mechanicsville and served a warrant with an original charge of Trespass: Private Property. The warrant was issued on January 13, 2012 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Service was done at the St. Mary's County Detention Center and Mr. Bice remained in custody pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (128200792)

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 12:45pm, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-15321) on Theodore Montgomery Green, 21, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Driving Without A Required License on January 18, 2012 by the District Court of St. Mary's county. Mr. Green was located in the 8500 block of Round Hill Road in Mechanicsville and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 8:48pm, TFC R. L. Jackson served a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-15300) on Matthew Antoine Harper, 21, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued for Mr. Harper's arrest on January 5, 2012 by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County as a result of a Grand Jury Indictment for Second Degree Assault. Mr. Harper was located in the 29000 block of Arlington Court in Mechanicsville and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
