WASHINGTON (January 21, 2012)The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities or local contractors.
Neany, Inc., Hollywood, Md., is being awarded a $11,960,102 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N68335-11-C-0261) to provide training of Persistent Ground Surveillance System operators and deployment services in support of PGSS Phase III B. Work will be performed in various forward deployed operating bases located in Afghanistan (90 percent), Hollywood, Md. (5 percent), and Yuma, Ariz. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded a $7,283,403 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee V-22 multi-year production contract (N00019-07-C-0001) to provide for production line preparation and production incorporation of unique identification marked parts for MV and CV Lot 16 aircraft. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (73 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (17 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (10 percent). Work is expected to be completed in October 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $31,863,590 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic order agreement (N00019-10-G-0004). This order will procure non-recurring integrated logistics support required in support of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Low Rate Initial Production Aircraft Program. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in May 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
