MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (January 12, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

TRESSPASSING: On Monday, January 2, 2012 at 12:15pm, TFC A. J. Malaspina responded to the St. Mary's Hospital for a reported assault. Upon arrival, TFC Malaspina determined that no assault occurred at the location, but that a male subject was refusing to leave the premises. Christopher Scott Lacey, 26, of Lexington Park refused to leave the location and was subsequently placed under arrest for Trespassing. Mr. Lacey was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

TRESSPASSING: On Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:57am, TFC G. A. Thompson responded to the 43000 block of Airport View Drive in Hollywood for a reported Trespass Violation. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 34, of Hollywood, who advised that Scott Alan Henderson, 30, of Valley Lee, was observed in the parking lot of the establishment, which is in violation of a "no trespass" order that was previously issued. According to the complainant, the no trespass order was issued due to Mr. Henderson's behavior on previous occasions. Information was obtained in verified in respect to the order issued and TFC Thompson cleared the scene. However, at 2:50pm, TFC Thompson was notified that the suspect had returned to the establishment. TFC Thompson responded to the location and located Mr. Henderson who was subsequently arrested for Violation of Trespass Order. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Monday, January 2, 2012 at 6:50pm, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling responded to the ABC Liquors on Three Notch Road on Great Mills Road for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with a complainant, 30, of Lexington Park, who immediately advised Tpr. Reuschling a description of the vehicle, merchandise stolen, and the last known direction of travel for the vehicle. Tpr. Reuschling located the vehicle in the area of Maryland Route 237 and Norris Road. Upon making contact with the vehicle and occupants, Tpr. Reuschling observed a male subject in the rear of the vehicle seated in a manner that concealed what was on the floorboard in front of him. The occupant, identified as Bruce Nathaniel Johnson, Jr., 29, of No Fixed Address, was asked to exit the vehicle, at which time the beer that was stolen from ABC Liquors was recovered. Mr. Johnson was additionally pinpointed by two witnesses as the suspect in the theft. He was placed under arrest for Theft Less Than $100.00 and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:50am, TFC G. A. Thompson responded to the Wal-Mart on Miramar Way in California for a reported theft in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with loss prevention staff who advised that a female was observed concealing merchandise on her person. TFC Thompson and Loss Prevention awaited the female on the outside of the store, past all points of sale. The female subject, Ashley Nicole Young, 24, of Great Mills, attempted to exit the store without purchasing the merchandise and was subsequently stopped and detained. Once returned to the Loss Prevention Office, information provided by Ms. Young as well as evidence from the theft, resulted in her being placed under arrest for Theft Less Than $100.00. Ms. Young was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. All merchandise was returned to Wal-Mart Loss Prevention.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:12am, TFC E. M. Evans served a Bench Warrant (T3-15290) on Charles Edward Taylor, III, 26, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Credit Card - Steal Another's by the District Court of St. Mary's County on December 27, 2011. Mr. Taylor was located already incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served on the warrant and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (12820000174)

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 8:30am, TFC B. T. Wiesemann served a Bench Warrant (T3-15269) on Samuel Stante Dennis, 32, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on December 14, 2011 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Dennis was located in the 48000 block of Leeward Circle in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:07am, TFC B. T. Wiesemann served a Bench Warrant (T3-15298) on Quentin Xavier Chase, 23, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued on January 4, 2012 with an original charge of Driving Without A Required License by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Chase was located in the 43000 block of Pump House Lane in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 6:05pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15299) on John Robert Townshend, 52, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of CDS Possession - Not Marijuana, Resisting Arrest and Attempting to Elude Police by Fleeing on Foot by the District Court of St. Mary's County on January 5, 2012. Mr. Townshend turned himself into local Law Enforcement and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, January 9, 2012 at 12:30am, TFC M. A. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-15278) on Valerie Ann Barnes, 45, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued for Ms. Barnes arrest on December 21, 2011 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Ms. Barnes turned herself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 12:22pm, TFC R. L. Jackson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15307) on Troy W. Neville, 43, of Clinton. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Prince Georges County on October 30, 2003 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 5:00pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-15303) on Jason Walker Carter, 30, of Great Mills. Mr. Carter was located at the Office of Parole and Probation and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served on the warrant that was issued on December 29, 2011 with an original charge of Violation of Probation - Burglary. Mr. Carter was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 7:45pm, TFC G. A. Thompson served a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-15301) on Christopher B. French, 21, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued on January 5, 2012 by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County as a result of a Grand Jury Indictment for Second Degree Assault. Mr. French was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
