MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (January 9, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF PILLS: On 1/3/2012 at 4:59 pm, Trooper Costello responded to the 9100 bock of Easy St. in Owings to serve a warrant. Jeanette C. Sigman, 52 of Owings, was transported to the Calvert County Detention for processing. During a secondary search, she was found in possession of pills for which she did not have a prescription. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 1/4/2012 at 11:17 pm, Trooper First Class Parker responded to the 500 block of Thunderbird Dr. in Lusby for a reported theft. Money was stolen from the victim's bedroom. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1/5/2012 at 1:21 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Bowie Shop Road in Huntingtown. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. Michael P. Morgan, 28 of Huntingtown, was arrested for possession of marijuana and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On 1/6/2012 at 10:44 am, Trooper Barlow responded to DiGiovanni's Restaurant in Solomons for a reported burglary. The restaurant was broken into and a cash box and several bottles of alcohol were stolen. Investigation continues.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 1/6/2012 at 11:02 am, Trooper Barlow responded to the Solomons Island Yacht Club in reference to destruction of property. Two lamps were destroyed at the end of the driveway. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1/6/2012 at 9:37 pm, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Calvert Beach Rd. in St. Leonard. A search of the vehicle revealed tha Richard B. MacWilliams, Jr., 20 of St. Leonard, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF PERCOET: On 1/7/2012 at 12:01 am, Trooper First Class Parker responded to the 1400 block of Woods Rd. in St. Leonard for a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, Crystal G. Hammond, 22 of Accokeek, and Kristina H. Woodward, 25 of Prince Frederick, were arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 1/7/2012 at 10:34 am, Trooper Williams responded to the 12500 block of Catalina Dr. for a reported theft. The SMECO power box had been stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.

CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON: On 1/7/2012 at 5:26 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Camaleer Pass in Sunderland. Sean Sammy, 38 of Ft. Washington, was found to be in possession of a handmade machete. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1/7/2012 at 5:30 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Camaleer Pass in Sunderland. A search of the vehicle revealed that the passenger, Rod K. Blaine, 44 of Washington, DC, was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
