LEONARDTOWN, Md. (January 6, 2012)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On January 6, deputies responded to a residence on Flower Drive in Lexington Park for a theft report. Investigation revealed Creighton Shields Perkins, 28, of California went to the victim's residence causing a disturbance. Perkins became angry when the victim told him to leave. Perkins stole the victim's mailbox and broke the side view mirror off the victim's vehicle. Deputy Wood located Perkins a short time later and arrested him. Perkins was charged with Theft and Malicious Destruction of Property.
STALKING: On January 4, deputies responded to a local hotel in Lexington Park for a stalking report. Investigation revealed Ivan Earl Nealy, 33, of Bushwood repeatedly contacted the victim by calling the victim after Nealy was told by the victim to stop. Nealy twice violated active protective orders on December 29, 2011 and January 4, 2012, which the victim was the petitioner. Nealy also contacted and threatened the victim prior to police arrival. The further revealed that Nealy was attempting to intimidate the victim in an effort to keep the victim from testifying against him in court. Nealy was located and charged with Stalking, Harassment and Witness Intimidation.
