LEONARDTOWN, Md. (January 5, 2012)The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Marys County Sheriffs Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division, and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Marys County.
COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Kenneth Edward Miller, 46, of Lexington Park, was indicted by Vice Narcotics detectives for Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. An arrest warrant was issued by the St. Mary's County Grand Jury. Vice Narcotics Support Team deputies located suspect Miller and he was placed under arrest. He was found to be in possession of more than $5,100 worth of cocaine, $5,281 in cash and a scale. Also seized were counterfeit money and a cellular phone. Additional charges were placed on Suspect Miller and more charges are pending a State's Attorney's Office review.
COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Carrie Anne Conyers, 24, Delray Beach, Florida, was indicted for Distribution of Cocaine and Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine. She was also served with a Failure to Appear Warrant on the original charge of Theft.
COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Delwin Matthew Thomas, 35, of Lexington Park, was indicted by vice narcotics detectives after being found with a sufficient quantity of cocaine to indicate intent to distribute.
COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Robert Edward Blake, a/k/a "Country," 28, of Leonardtown, was arrested on an open warrant that was obtained by Vice Narcotics detectives through the Grand Jury process. Suspect Blake was charged with Possession with the intent to Distribute Cocaine as well as Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine.
OXYCODONE DISTRIBUTION: Edgar Charles Brockman, 43, of Lexington Park, was arrested on an open warrant for Possession of Oxycodone with the intent to Distribute. He was originally held without bond.
HANDGUN CHARGES, FTA: Tory Dinone Herbert, 26, of Leonardtown, was arrested on numerous handgun charges that were handed down by the St. Mary's County Grand Jury as well as Failure to Appear warrant that were issued through the District Court.
OXYCODONE DISTRIBUTION: Jason Anthony Hoover, 23, of Charlotte Hall; John Robert Garner, 30, of Bedford, Va.; and Jesse Patrick Goble, 22, of Mechanicsville, were identified as major distributors of prescription medication throughout St. Mary's County. The three suspects, along with others were responsible for thousands of Oxycodone pills being falsely obtained and distributed. There are other suspects still at large. Suspect Hoover, Garner and Goble were arrested on open indictments for the drug violations and were originally held without bond.
