St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (January 3, 2012)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On December 21, 2011, deputies responded to the Wal-Mart on Miramar Way in California for theft report. Investigation revealed a Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Specialist observed Amanda Lynn Abell, 29, of Leonardtown, conceal merchandise in a bag and attempt to exit the store without paying for the items. The Loss Prevention Specialist detained Abell until police arrival. Deputy Bankhead arrested Abell and charged her with theft.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 22, 2011, deputies responded to a residence on Foxchase Drive in Lexington Park for an assault report. Investigation revealed Garry Victor Shubrooks became upset with the victim. Shubrooks pushed the victim onto a couch and punched the victim in the face. Deputy Schultz arrived and placed Shubrooks under arrest. Shubrooks was charged with Second Degree Assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 29, 2011, deputies responded to a residence on Blake Creek Road in Leonardtown for an assault report. Investigation revealed Lakisha Rena Rhodes, 33, of Leonardtown, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Rhodes struck the victim in the face. Deputy Potter arrested Rhodes and charged her with Second Degree Assault.

FIRST DEGREE BURGLARY: On December 20, 2011, deputies responded to a residence on Meadowlake Court in Great Mills for a burglary report. Investigation revealed Zachary Scott Llewellyn, 20, of Hollywood, forced entry into the residence and stole items from within. Corporal Corcoran arrived and observed Llewellyn fleeing in a vehicle from the driveway. Corporal Corcoran arrested Llewellyn and charged him with First Degree Burglary and Theft.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On December 30, 2011, deputies responded to a residence on Valley Estates Drive in Lexington Park for a report of a fight. Deputy Schultz arrived and observed Detective Raddatz interviewing Derrick Xavier Green, 30, of Lexington Park. Green was yelling and speaking loudly and was asked by Detective Raddatz to quiet down and leave the area. Green refused and continued to speak loudly causing a disturbance to other residents in the area. Deputy Schultz arrested Green and charged him with Disorderly Conduct.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 31, 2011, deputies responded to a residence on North Patuxent Beach Road in California for an assault report. Investigation revealed Thomas Ray Pacobit, 46, of California, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Pacobit struck the victim in the head several times. Deputy Ellis arrested Pacobit and charged him with Second Degree Assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 1, 2012, deputies responded to a residence on Weeping Willow Lane in Lexington Park for an assault report. Investigation revealed Christopher Michael Roby, 34, of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated into an assault when Roby push, strangled and bit the victim. Deputy Schultz arrested Roby and charged him with Second Degree Assault.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On January 1, 2012, deputies responded to a local bar on Budds Creek Road in Clements for a report of a fight. Officers arrived and observed a large crowd involved in a fight. Several officers issued multiple commands for the crowd to stop. No one in the crowd complied with the commands. Deputy Schultz witnessed Alan Richard Courtney engaged in the altercation. Multiple orders were given to Courtney to stop which he refused. Since Courtney refused to stop, Deputy Schultz deployed his Taser to subdue Courtney. Courtney was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 2, 2012, deputies responded to a residence on Alice Way in Clements for a report of assault. Investigation revealed Kenneth James Dickerson, 27, of Clements, became involved in an argument which escalated into a physical assault when Dickerson pushed the victim into a wall. Deputy Adamo arrested Dickerson and charged him with Second Degree Assault.

PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATION: On January 2, 2012, Kenneth James Dickerson, 27, of Clements, was served with a protective order ordering that he have no contact with the petitioner of the order. On January 2, the petitioner contacted Deputy Krum and reported Dickerson had contacted a third party to deliver a message to the petitioner which is a violation of the order. Deputy Krum located Dickerson a short time later and charged with a Protective Order Violation.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 2, 2012, deputies responded to a residence on Valley Estates Drive in Lexington Park for an assault report. Investigation revealed McKinley Nathaniel Mackall, 32, of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Mackall grabbed the defendant and pulled out her hair. Deputy Green arrested Mackall and charged him with Second Degree Assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 3, 2012, deputies responded to a residence on Silver Slate Drive in Lexington Park for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Joseph W. Custalow, 28, of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument which escalated into a physical assault when Custalow pushed the victim down the stairs. Deputy Beyer arrested Custalow and charged him with Second Degree Assault.
