LA PLATA, Md. (December 27, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On Dec. 26 at 4 p.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of Renner Road in Waldorf for the report of a burglary. Investigation showed unknown suspect(s) broke into a house and ransacked the residence. The homeowner was not immediately sure what was stolen. Officer B. Clark is investigating.
MAIL TAMPERING: On Dec. 25 at 10:50 a.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Gideon Court in Waldorf for the report of found mail. A witness called police and told officers she found several pieces of mail belonging to her neighbors in a wooded area behind her home. Officers delivered the identifiable mail to the homeowners and returned other envelopes to the post office. Officer J. Fromme is investigating.
