PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (December 19, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12/5/2011 at 2:41 pm, Trooper First Class West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Long Beach Dr. at Calvert Beach Rd. in St. Leonard. Brian L. Moore, 22, of St. Leonard, was found to be in possession of marijuana during a search of the vehicle. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12/6/2011 at 9:19 am, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Adelina Rd. at Macs Hollow Rd. in Prince Frederick. The driver, Sheldon R. Willett, 43 of Washington, DC, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12/06/2011 at 12:07 pm, Trooper First Class West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Carlyle Ct. and St. Leonard Rd. in St. Leonard. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. Robert L. McWhirt, 2nd, 19 of St. Leonard, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12/6/2011 @ 10:42 pm, Trooper First Class Wiersma stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Solomons Island Rd. in Prince Frederick. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana. Danielle N. Dean, 24 of Prince Frederick, and Russell J. Bednarik 3rd, 21 of Lusby, were arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On 12/9/2011 at 12:18 pm, Trooper Oles responded to the Fast Stop in St. Leonard for a reported theft. The suspect drove away from the gas station without paying for gas. Investigation continues.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 12/9/2011 at 6:35 pm, Trooper Smith responded to the 400 block of Bronco Trail in Lusby for a reported destruction of property. Unknown suspect(s) removed the cover from the victim's motorcycle and knocked it over. Investigation continues.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 12/10/2011 @ 2:24 am, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 7-11 store in Dunkirk for a domestic argument. During the investigation, Crystal K. Sweeney, 30 of Huntingtown, became disorderly inside the business, causing a disturbance. After refusing several warnings, she was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On 12/11/2011 at 1:00 pm, Trooper First Class Hunt responded to the 2200 block of Eagle View Court in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft. A 32 inch LCD Vizio television and a credit card were stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12/12/2011 at 3:59 pm, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Rt. 4 and Sweetwater Rd. in Lusby. The passenger, Ashley N. Lewis, 21 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE AND THEFT: On 12/14/2011 at 3:50 pm, Trooper First Class West responded to Hospital Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Security advised that the victim's purse with credit cards and cash was taken. During the investigation, Lea A. Santos, 44 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of Oxycodone for which she did not have a prescription. The victim's stolen items were not located, however other stolen identifications and credit cards were located. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
