LEONARDTOWN, Md. (December 09, 2011)The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On December 8, deputies responded to the Dash-In in Leonardtown for a report of a theft. A lookout had been broadcast for the suspect. Deputy Vezzosi located a subject walking northbound on Point Lookout Road matching the lookout description. Deputy Vezzosi identified the subject as Brad Alan Willingham, 31, of Leonardtown. During a search of Willingham, Deputy Vezzosi located stolen merchandise in Willingham's jacket pocket as well as a metal tin containing suspected xanax pills. Willingham was arrested and charged with Theft and CDS Possession.
THEFT: On December 8 at approximately 10:10 p.m., deputies responded to a report of disorderly subjects inside the K-Mart, located on Alton Lane in California. Investigation revealed a store employee observed two subjects who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance and concealing merchandise under their clothing. Corporal Merritt made contact with Cassady Lee Todd, 24, of Lexington Park, and David Wayne Lamb, Jr., 23, of Victorian Drive, California. Corporal Merritt inquired about a bulge under Todd's shirt. When she lifted her shirt, several items of stolen merchandise fell to the ground. During a search of Todd, Corporal Merritt located several white pills of suspected hydrocodone in Todd's pants pocket. Deputy Ellis located several items of merchandise in Lamb's pocket. Todd was charged with Theft and CDS Possession. Lamb was charged with Theft.
DRUG ARREST: On December 9, Deputy First Class Boyer was conducting a patrol check in the area of Great Mills Road and FDR Boulevard in Lexington Park when he observed an occupied vehicle running with its lights off parked near several closed businesses. Dfc. Boyer made contact with a passenger, Darwin Terrell Banks, 39, of Lexington Park. Banks consented to a search. During the search, Dfc. Boyer located a metal CDS smoking device with suspected crack cocaine located in Banks' pants pocket. Banks was arrested and charged with CDS Possession and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.
SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 7, deputies responded to a residence on Munley Lane in Lexington Park for an assault report. Investigation revealed Brian Marcus Ceasar, 31, of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated when Ceasar grabbed the victim and pushed the against a wall causing injury to the victim's face. Deputy Worrey arrested Ceasar and charged him with second degree assault.
