MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (December 06, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 11/27/2011 at 4:09 pm, Trooper Costello stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Main St. near Armory Rd. in Prince Frederick. Lesley R. Campbell, 30 of Prince Frederick, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On 11/30/2011 at 3:03 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the 11800 block of Crown Dr. in Dunkirk for a reported burglary. A home was broken into and four electric guitars were stolen. Investigation continues.

SHOPLIFTING: On 11/30/2011 at 10:41 pm, Trooper Williams responded to the Fast Stop in St. Leonard for a shoplifting complaint. Ronald L. Bowie, Jr., 21 of Prince Frederick, was arrested for shoplifting and was also found to have an open warrant through Montgomery County. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE & MARIJUANA: On 12/03/2011 at 12:57 am, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Little Cove Point Rd. and Rudolph Lane in Lusby. Amy M. Blount, 33 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana. She was charged and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 12/3/2011 at 11:28 am, Sr. Trooper Gill responded to the EZ Thai Restaurant in Prince Frederick for a destruction of property complaint. Unknown suspect(s) cracked the plate glass front window of the business. Investigation continues.

BURGLARY: On 12/3/2011 at 2:00 pm, Sr. Trooper Gill responded to the Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick for a reported burglary. The business was entered after hours and money was stolen from the cash register. Investigation continues.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 12/3/2011 at 10:43 pm, Trooper Matthews responded to the 1900 block of Constitution Drive in St. Leonard for a reported destruction of property. A mailbox was destroyed. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 12/4/2011 at 11:30 am, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the Fast Stop in St. Leonard for a reported theft. Gas was taken and the vehicle left without payment. Investigation continues.
