MARIJUANA SALES: Vice narcotics detectives conducted a several week long investigation into a drug distribution network that was begin operated in the Park Hall area. The Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Team and K-9 deputies assisted in the execution of a search warrant. Suspects Brendon Dirk Mydock, 22, and Eric William Taymon, 21, were arrested. More than $3,500 worth of marijuana was seized along with $5,700 in cash, packaging materials and scales. Additional charges are pending a State's Attorney's Office review.
PRESCRIPTION FRAUD: Vice narcotics detectives responded to a California pharmacy related to a possible prescription fraud. Suspect Megan Renee Eccard, 29, of Hollywood, and at least one additional co-defendant, obtained Codeine by fraudulent means. This has taken place on at least ten separate occasions. A search of their home produced additional evidence. Suspect Eccard was arrested and additional charges and arrests are pending a review with the State's Attorney Office.
POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE: Brian Keith Stapleton, 24, of Lexington Park, was arrested after a search warrant revealed a quantity of marijuana which indicated possession with the intent to distribute. He was originally held without bond.
POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE: Jeffrey Brandon Junge, 23, of Hollywood, was arrested after a search warrant revealed a quantity of marijuana which indicated Possession with the Intent to Distribute. He was originally held without bond. He has been wanted since October of 2010.
PRESCRIPTION FRAUD, IDENTITY THEFT: Andrew Tkaczuk, 26, of Tall Timbers, was identified by vice narcotics detectives as a possible suspect in a prescription fraud case. As the investigation continued it was revealed that on numerous occasions Suspect Tkaczuk had passed fraudulent prescriptions in the name of another person. That person was located in the State of Virginia and it was confirmed she was the victim of identity theft. Suspect Tkaczuk not only obtained the Oxycodone by fraudulent means, the prescription claim was submitted for payment to the United States Government through the military medical benefit program. Vice narcotics detectives were accompanied by agents from the FBI and NCIS when a Search and Seizure Warrant was executed on the suspect's home. Numerous items of evidence have been seized including a vehicle, a computer and hard drives. This investigation is continuing.
MARIJUANA SALES: Information was received that Suspect Steffen Zachary Monger, 21, of California, was selling marijuana from his home. A search and seizure warrant was obtained and executed. Suspect Monger was arrested after marijuana and related distribution paraphernalia was located. He is facing additional charges pending a State's Attorney's Office review.
