St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 29, 2011)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 26, deputies responded to a local pub on Point Lookout Road in Great Mills for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Derrick Xavier Green, 30, of Lexington Park, and the victim became involved in an argument which escalated into a physical assault when Green pushed the victim to the ground causing injuries to her knee and hand. Deputy Snyder arrested Green and charged him with second degree assault.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On November 26 at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a fight in progress on Piney Point Road in Callaway. As Deputy Rogers was checking the area for the fight, he located Delonte Deangelo Harvey, 19, of Callaway. Harvey began yelling profanities and causing a disturbance that drew the attention of other neighbors. Deputy Rogers ordered Harvey several times to stop yelling and quiet down, but Harvey refused. Deputy Rogers arrested Harvey and charged him with Disorderly Conduct.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 26 at approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Richey Road in Leonardtown for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Amanda Lynn Abell, 29, of Leonardtown, became involved in a dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Abell punched the victim on the face causing injury to his nose. Deputy Rogers arrested Abell and charged her with second degree assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 27, deputies responded to a residence in St. Inigoes, for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Mary Elaine Murphy, 42, of St. Inigoes, became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Murphy grabbed the victim by the arm and struck the victim in the face. Deputy Kirkner arrested Murphy and charged her with second degree assault.

FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 28 at approximately 5:30 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Budds Creek Road in Clements for an assault report. Investigation revealed Christina Marie Wedding, 26, of Clements, became involved in an argument with the victim. The argument escalated when Wedding slapped the victim and then retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the victim on his arm. Corporal Handy arrested Wedding and charged her with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault and Intentional Injuring Person with a Dangerous Weapon.
