MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (November 9, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON: On 10/30/11 at 8:12 pm, Trooper Oles stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 north of Church St. in Prince Frederick. A search revealed that the passenger, Donald Levi Warrick, Jr., 23 of Callaway, was in possession of a knife. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. During the arrest, one of the passengers became disorderly and began to shout profanities and refused to obey officer's orders. Javonne L. Warrick, 20 of Callaway, was then arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On 11/1/11 at 10:12 pm, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Armory Rd at Main St. in Prince Frederick. A search of the vehicle revealed that the driver Mitchell J. McKinney, 22 of Mechanicsville, was in possession of Oxycodone pills. Another passenger, James A. Farrell, Jr., 23 of St. Leonard, gave a false name and birth date to the trooper. He was subsequently identified and found to have an active warrant. He was placed under arrest for the active warrant and for giving a false statement to a police officer. Both McKinney and Farrell were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 11/1/11 at 11:32 pm, Trooper First Class Johns responded to the 100 block of Deer Dr. in Lusby for disorderly subjects. Jarred E. Trice, 21, and Kelli E. Richards, 21, both of Lusby, were extremely intoxicated and had become disorderly inside the residence. Both were charged and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 11/2/11 at 5:34 am, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the 3400 block of Dixon Ct. in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft. The vehicle's window was broken numerous items were stolen from the vehicle. Investigation continues.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 11/3/11 at 3:47 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the Calvert County Fairground in Prince Frederick for a reported theft complaint. The victim's vehicle was entered and numerous items were stolen. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 11/3/11 at 6:52 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 260 at Chew Branch Rd. in Owings. An odor of Marijuana was detected in the vehicle. A search revealed that the driver was in possession of Marijuana. Willie J. Oliver, 26 of Washington, DC, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, TRESPASSING: On 11/4/11 at 8:19 am, Trooper First Class West was attempting to serve an arrest warrant and responded to Solomons Island Rd. in Prince Frederick. Two people exited the residence and attempted to flee. A search of the residence revealed Marijuana. Investigation also revealed that both subjects were trespassing on the property. Timothy W. McConnell, 33 of Prince Frederick and Thomas O. Burch 4th, 21 of Prince Frederick were both arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Russell C. MC BAIN, 36, of Owings, arrested on 11/05/11 @ 01:05 am by TFC B. Sorenson

Walter M. SPRIGGS, 24, of Owings, arrested on 11/05/11 @ 01:49 am by TFC K. Logsdon

Mark D. RECKNER, 32, of Port Republic, arrested on 11/06/11 @ 01:14 am by TPR. J. Oles
