LA PLATA, Md. (October 27, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DETECTIVES CHARGE MAN IN CONNECTION WITH ROBBERIES AND THEFT: On Oct. 26, detectives assigned to the CCSO Criminal Investigations Division arrested Christopher Leroy Williams, 53, of Washington, DC in connection with three armed robberies and a theft. Detectives say Williams and two accomplices' targeted gas stations along the Route 210 corridor and, at gunpoint, stole money and cigarettes. The accomplices, Mona Boakye, 38, and Maurice Roulhac, 37, were apprehended shortly after committing a robbery on October 7 but Williams, who was with them during the robbery, managed to escape. Detectives subsequently identified Williams and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with armed robbery. In addition, Williams was linked to the theft of lottery tickets which were stolen from a store in Waldorf earlier this month. Williams was located and arrested in Washington, D.C. and is awaiting extradition to Charles County. Detective P. Tona investigated.

BURGLARY: On Oct. 26 between 1 p.m. - 2:40 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in 7000 block of Henson Landing Road in Welcome and stole jewelry. PFC S. Weedon is investigating.

THEFT: On Oct. 24 at 10:09 p.m., a male suspect stole a purse which was on top of a table at an outside eatery in the 3000 block of Market Place in Waldorf. The victim, who was seated at the table, chased the suspect but he fled into a wooded area where he escaped. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY REPORTED: On Oct. 25 at 9:42 p.m., officers responded to the area of Vine Hill Court and Red Lion Place in Waldorf for the sound of gunshots. Officers canvassed the area but did not locate anyone. Officers found two shell casings but it is not clear if they were recently fired. PFC Goddard is investigating.

DIRT BIKE STOLEN: On Oct. 25 between 12 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) stole a dirt bike from the front porch of a house in the 15000 block of Rock Point Road in Newburg. The dirt bike is a 2001 Kawasaki 85cc, green and white in color, with several decals on it. The fender on the right side of the bike was left behind by the suspect(s). The remaining fender on the left side is white in color with the number "1" sticker on it. PFC Sershen is investigating.
