MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 14, 2011)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT LESS THAN $100: On Sunday, October 9 at 5:08pm, TFC R. L. Jackson responded to the Food Lion on Merchants Lane in Leonardtown for a reported shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, contact was made with staff of the establishment and the shoplifter, identified as Lynda Lee Kidwell, 49, of Hollywood. Information provided by Food Lion Staff indicated that Ms. Kidwell was observed attempting to steal items within the store by opening packaging and removing merchandise. Following information provided by the employees of the store and the suspect, Ms. Kidwell was placed under arrest for Theft Under $100.00. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, October 10 at 12:15am, TFC G. A. Thompson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15080) on Jake Travis Marble, 26, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License by the District Court of St. Mary's County on August 10. Mr. Marble was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, October 10 at 2:50am, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15122) on Vanzorro Lee Gross, Jr., 25, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on August 31. The original charge was CDS Possession - Not Marijuana. Mr. Gross was located in the 22000 block of Meadow Lake Lane in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, October 11 at 1:50pm, TFC S. M. Van Bennekum served two outstanding Bench Warrants (T3-15169 / T3-15170) on Adella M. Ackerman, 44, of Great Mills. The warrants were issued on October 11 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Original charges were Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Violation of Exparte / Protective Order. Ms. Ackerman was located at the District Courthouse in Leonardtown and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, October 11 at 9:49pm, TFC J. G. Fleetwood served a Bench Warrant (T3-15164) on Scott Wallace Donaldson, 42, of St. Mary's City. The warrant was issued on October 5 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Donaldson was located in the 47000 block of South Snow Hill Manor Road in St. Mary's City and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
