LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 11, 2011)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, October 6 at 7:12 p.m., TFC B. T. Wiesemann conducted a traffic stop in the Wildewood Shopping Center on a black Ford truck for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, the operator was identified as William Vance Straight, 30, of Hollywood. While speaking with Mr. Straight, TFC Wiesemann detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from Mr. Straight's breath. He was asked to exit the vehicle and perform Standardized Field Sobriety. While doing a brief pat down for officer safety purposes, TFC Wiesemann detected CDS on Mr. Straight. Following information provided by Mr. Straight and items detected on his person Mr. Straight was placed under arrest for Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, October 07 at 7:50 a.m., Tpr. E. R. Mersman served a Bench Warrant (T3-15140) on Jacob Michael Wietzke, 24, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued on September 22 with an original charge of Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Wietzke was located in the 24000 block of Hunt Court in Hollywood and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, October 7 at 12:50 p.m., TFC M. A. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-15156) on Gina Patricia Kennedy, 22, of Tall Timbers. The warrant was issued on September 29 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Kennedy was located in the 22000 block of Wheatley Apartment Way in Leonardtown and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Ms. Kennedy was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, October 9 at 5:05 p.m., TFC J. A. Pilkerton served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15046) on Tyler Jacob Vock, 21, of Chaptico. The warrant was issued on July 6 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Malicious Destruction of Property. Mr. Vock was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
