MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 3, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On September 25 at 12:59 pm, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Ball Rd. in St. Leonard. During the traffic stop, the driver, Travis R. Parker, 26 of Prince Frederick, became extremely irate and refused to comply with verbal directions. He continued to disregard commands and attempted to walk into traffic. Parker was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On September 25 at 2:55 pm, Trooper Casarella responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Rd. for a reported destruction of property. A chain link fence on the property was cut. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On September 25 at 11:51 pm, Trooper Costello stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at German Chapel Rd. in Prince Frederick. A search of the vehicle revealed drugs. Thomas L. Jones, Jr., 40 of Prince Frederick, and Ciera S. Green, 25 of Lexington Park, were arrested for possession of marijuana and crack cocaine. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On September 27 at 12:23 pm, Trooper Oles responded to the 1900 block of Kingswood Dr. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft from a vehicle. A Poulan 20" chainsaw, two (2) Garmin GPS systems, cell phone charges and cash were stolen from the vehicle. Investigation continues.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On September 28 at 6:38 pm, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the Park and Ride in Sunderland for a reported theft from a vehicle. A catalytic converter was cut off of a vehicle while it was parked at the Park and Ride. Investigation continues.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: On October 1 at 5:42 pm, Trooper First Class Evans and Trooper First Class Gill responded to the 6800 block of Hallowing Lane in Prince Frederick for a reported domestic disturbance. During the investigation, several subjects continued to be disorderly and attempted escalate the situation into a fight. Troopers arrested several people on the scene, Jonathan F. Smith, 45 of Prince Frederick, Latisha S. Smith, 24 of Prince Frederick, and Anita J. Foote, 37 of Prince Frederick, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On October 2 at 8:53 pm, Trooper First Class Logsdon responded to the 1400 block of Woods Rd. in St. Leonard for a reported disorderly person. Ralph A. Woodward, 21 of St. Leonard, was extremely intoxicated and refused to calm down. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
