LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 3, 2011)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT LESS THAN $100: On Thursday, September 29 at 8:16pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher responded to the Kmart located in California for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with loss prevention personnel who advised that a female subject was observed entering the store and attempting to exit with merchandise without purchasing it. The female subject, identified as Tarin Renee Vasquez, 34, of Hagerstown, provided a statement to the Trooper and was placed under arrest for Theft less than $100.00. The items were returned to the Loss Prevention Personnel. Ms. Vasquez was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, September 30 at 2:35pm, Tpr. O. Tchi Ngambu served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15155) on Jonathan Mclain Barnes, 20, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Second Degree Assault by the District Court of St. Mary's County on September 30. Mr. Barnes was located at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, October 1 at 6:25pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15158) on Nicholas Christopher Sitcer, 30, of Baltimore. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Baltimore County on August 4 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Sitcer was located on a traffic stop in the area of Old Three Notch Road and Sotterly Road in Hollywood and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, October 2 at 11:40pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15153) on Shannon Courtney Peter, 31, of Petersburg, Virginia. The warrant was issued with an original charge CDS Possession - Marijuana by the District Court of St. Mary's County on September 27. Ms. Peter turned herself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
