LA PLATA, Md. (September 29, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

OFFICERS APPREHEND BURGLARY SUSPECT/STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED: On Sept. 22 at 12:44 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Jacqueline Way in Bryans Road for a burglary that just occurred. The victim reported he arrived home and noticed his house had just been broken into and a firearm and computer had been stolen. Officers canvassed the area and observed two suspects emerge from the woods. The subjects ran and as officers pursued, one suspect threw a handgun in the wooded area. The suspect was apprehended and officers found a fully loaded magazine and marijuana on him. Officers continued canvassing the area and located additional computer equipment which may have been stolen in a different burglary. The suspect, 16, from Indian Head, was charged with burglary. Detectives are working to identify the second suspect.

BURGLARY: Between Sept 22 and Sept 27, unknown suspect(s) broke into a home for sale in the 5900 block of Mason Springs Road in Bryans Road and stole several appliances.

BURGLARY: On Sept. 19, unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in the 2600 block of Oakley Drive in Waldorf and stole money a television. Entry was gained through the front door.
