MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (September 1, 2011)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, August 29 at 7:03pm, Tpr. E. R. Mersman served two outstanding Bench Warrants (T3-15064 / T3-15065) on Gerard Matthew Williams, 32, of Hollywood. Both warrants were issued on July 29 at the District Court of St. Mary's County with original charges of Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. Mr. Williams was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, August 29 at 11:50pm, TFC A. J. Malaspina conducted a traffic stop on a beige GMC truck in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Lockes Hill Road for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, a male juvenile, 17, of Chaptico, TFC Malaspina had the juvenile exit the vehicle to provide additional information. While speaking with the juvenile a back up unit on the scene to assist TFC Malaspina advised that the odor of burnt marijuana could be detected emitting from the vehicle where two passengers remained. The passengers were asked to exit the vehicle and a probable cause search was performed. The search of each subject's person revealed negative results, however, a search of the vehicle revealed CDS and CDS paraphernalia. The operator, and two additional subject, a female juvenile, 17, of Mechanicsville and a male juvenile, 16, of Clements were all placed under arrest for Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. All three subjects were transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack where they were processed and released to a guardian pending further action by Juvenile Services.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, August 30 at 4:10pm, TFC E. J. Page served an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-15109) on Samantha Joell Faucette, 20, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued on August 24 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Faucette was located during an unrelated investigation in Charlotte Hall and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, August 30 at 6:40pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-15043) on Shawn Christopher Henderson, 30, of Ridge. The warrant was issued with an original charge of CDS Possession: Marijuana on July 12 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Henderson was located in the 21000 block of Castaway Circle in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Henderson was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Tuesday, August 30 at 7:08pm, TFC E. J. Page responded to the Park and Ride located in the 29000 block of Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 45, of Mechanicsville, who advised he was assaulted by a female subject during an argument. The complainant provided TFC Page with an account of the events leading up to the assault. TFC Page then made contact with a witness and suspect Dana Lee Marconi, 41, of Mechanicsville, who provide an account of the incident. Based on the information provided by all subjects, Ms. Marconi was placed under arrest for Second Degree Assault. Ms. Marconi was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 31 at 12:40pm, Tpr. S. M. Ditoto served an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-15108) on John Winfield Carter, Jr., 36, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued on August 24 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Carter turned himself into the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 31 at 2:50pm, TFC E. J. Page served a Bench Warrant (T3-13583) on John Walter Thomas, Jr., 30, of Washington, D. C. The warrant was issued on August 25, 2008 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Theft: $500.00 Plus Value. Mr. Thomas turned himself into authorities in Washington, D.C. and was extradited back to St. Mary's County by MSP Personnel. Mr. Thomas was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 31 at 4:45pm, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-15117) on Nicolis Olanda Waul, 29, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Driving While Impaired by Alcohol on August 30 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Waul was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for service. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 31 at 10:05pm, TFC E. J. Page served a Bench Warrant (T3-15112) on Robert Fitzgerald Kearney, Jr., 23, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on August 24 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Kearney was located in the 46000 block of Columbus Drive in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
