MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 31, 2011)—The Maryland State Police, Prince Frederick Barrack, released the following incident and arrest reports.

HURRICANE IRENE: During the storm, 40 troopers and civilian personnel from the barrack were on duty. Approximately 20 additional Troopers from other areas and units, including the Mobile Field Force, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, and the Motorcycle Unit, were dispatched to Calvert County to assist. Troopers were dispatched to areas throughout Calvert County to assist with security of residences and business, rescue operations, evacuations, traffic control and maintaining overall peace and order.

THEFT: On August 21 at 9:42 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the 3200 block of Solomons Island Rd. in Huntingtown for a reported theft. Prescription medication was stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 26 at 12:04 am, Trooper First Class Evans contacted Christopher T. Agpaoa, 22 of Sunderland, on Lake Ridge Road at Alta Drive while investigating an unauthorized use of motor vehicle case. Agpaoa was found to have an open warrant through Prince George's County and was also in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On August 26 at 4:05 pm, Trooper Costello responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Scrap metal was stolen from the victim's storage area. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 27 at 4:46 am, Trooper First Class Dawson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Sherry Lane in Prince Frederick. During a search of the vehicle, Shawn L. Stafford, Jr., 21 of Clinton and Adrienne D. Miller, 20 of Suitland, were found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a concealed deadly weapon (knife). They were arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On August 27 at 6:06 am, Trooper First Class Johns responded to the 9700 block of H.G. Trueman Rd. in Lusby for a reported burglary. The unoccupied home was entered as well as two out buildings on the property. Numerous power tools, Ipod, and a camera were stolen. Investigation continues.
